Orchids Galore
Many moons ago when we first started looking after Mowsbury Hillfort and the meadow, around 2011, discovering a single common spotted orchid was an excuse for celebration. And then when a handful of Bee Orchids appeared twas a year to be really remembered, and then Pyramids started springing up, one here and one there. But now we have a healthy population of Spotted, Bee and Pyramids throughout Mowsbury Hill Meadow, The Courtyard Meadow, Southern slopes and the orchard. What a difference a couple of caring years make.
